Children are way better at gathering insights than most adults.
How come?
- An uninhibited, innate and genuine curiosity about the world and the subject at hand
- The ability to keep asking “Why” and “How” and not giving up until the respondent gives up
- And the inability to “layer”, the respondent answers with pre-conceived biases and “expertise”.
What children lack (and some would say thankfully !) is the ability to contextualize the insights and apply them to a specific problem at hand.
Connect with the child in you, takes on an entirely new meaning!
